Richard Hamm
Richard Hamm joined Hampton and Littlewood in 2007, to act as the firm’s Cornish representative. Richard was the principal of Lambrays Auction Galleries, based in the North Cornwall market town of Wadebridge, which he established over 24 years, also encouraging West Country artists by holding exhibition within his galleries. These included exhibitions of Prison Art, Peter Blake & The Brotherhood of Ruralists and a touring exhibition of Lenkiewicz’s Mental Handicap project.
Richard has 40 years experience as a Fine Art Valuer and Auctioneer in Cornwall, and has been involved with most categories of Antiques & Collectables, having studied with Button, Menhenitt & Mutton, one of the major Cornish salerooms, before starting his own auction house.
He was one of the co-founders of North Cornwall Arts, a charity to promote the Arts in rural areas and was personally responsible creating the 1st Cornwall Film Festival, co-ordinating a visit by the Royal Shakespeare Company and other touring companies.
Richard Hamm is now the Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood representative in Cornwall and is the main point of contact. He holds regular valuation days throughout the county and is available for home visits. He can be contacted on 01208 813593
